ER could care less about people. The nurse checking my family in was rude and uncaring. The doctor was rude and doesn’t listen to the patient at all. Docs here ignore the patients and make them feel helpless. The staff is unhappy, gossiping, laughing about patients and talking about patient problems so loudly you could hear everything they say. maybe you should talk to your doctors about how to handle and speak to patients that are recovering addicts (over 5 years sober, mind you) and on dialysis instead of sitting there and try to blame abuse as a cause instead of doing their job and try to figure out the actual problem.

Took my daughter in to the ER considering Urgent Care was closed. Sat around for an hour for a bed, she was in critical condition, they shoved us into a triage room, waited another hour to see the doctor and when he entered the room he didn’t shake my hand didn’t introduce himself didn’t even ask what was wrong with her i tried to tell him things that were wrong with her kept cutting me off mid sentence and he told me since she is not eating or drinking force it to her...are you kidding me she is still an infant! Doctors are thorough; staff takes their time. Check ins are easy. Been a member since the early 50’s.
Kaiser treats you like you are cattle. There is no individual concern. All they care about is getting you in and out with doing the least amount of work or investigation into what is wrong. Doctors in urgent care are useless and seem like they have no experience in anything. I have been with Kaiser for 35 years. Haven’t had to really use my insurance except for the last 2 years other than having 3 babies. But now that I’m having health issues I have not received quality service.
