Phantom Electronics and Mobridge System-Sub Par – Phantom Electronics sold me a $3000 piece of garbage Mobridge i-pod converter, and i phone stereo hook up thats so complicated that even they couldn't figure out how to get it to work. Almost 9 months later I know that the purchase was a complete waste of time. For a lot of money all I got was a satellite radio system with a i-phone handsfree hookup. THIS COMPANY IS REALLY EXCELLENT TO DEAL WITH – Some few years ago, I was directed to this company by the manufacturer of some equipment that had been fitted into my car by a car dealer in the mid west. I never knew what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised by what happened next. I was very impressed by the knowledge of the staff and the manner in which they conducted themselves in dealing with my problem. long time pro in new building – Al &Eds needed a distant reservation to replace xm antenna. Howard got one in the next day and said come on in and got it done w/in an hour. Price of antenna and install under $90. Easy, casual, competent. Great personality devoid of BS. Several other deals over the past 15 yrs. No haggling; confident in fair prices.
Stay away from these guys! – I went to them about two years ago and it took me a new installer to realize how bad these guys are. First, their charges are through the roof - $125/hour. These guys think that they are so good apparently. If you buy stuff from them, then they charge you "only" $75/hour. Just the difference here should tell you that they make a lot of money selling overpriced audio and Howard will really try to sell his stuff.
