nice people This year is really bad for me i got laid off no job no money. too stressed. then i saw a lot of advertisements on tv for gold Buyers. I talk to my husband about gold then we both decided to sell my old gold then. my husband and me shop around. they gave us good deal better than others.

great service and price Great price for our gold jewelry not being used anymore. I went to a Cash for Gold store in Schaumburg 1st , and when I said i wanted a 2nd estimate they instantly made a higher offer which really made me want a 2nd estimate. When we got to PGS Gold Buyers in Palatine they were very pleasant and open. We were offered 90 percent more than the 1st offer we got from a different gold buyer. Platinum Gold Silver - A+ This is my first review ever! I was so impressed with PGS that I had to recommend them! (Plus they give you extra 20% on top of your appraisal if you recommend them on any social network or write a review online) Anyhow, they actually offered almost double of what other Cash for Gold spots offered. What the heck? Brought a bunch of gold jewelry in from an estate sale that my mom had to this store. The lady said she would give me $542 for it. Something seemed fishy and I took it to the gold center and received $680 from them! I don't recommend PGS.

Rude Customer Service I went into this store on my lunch break to look into selling my silverware. I have a science degree and know the weight and purity of what I am looking to sell. I had approximately 22 troy ounces of sterling silver.Customer service here was rude to me and not knowledgeable. They wouldn't quote me an estimate or % they pay of the market price for scrap silver. My guess is so that they can rip off someone who doesn't realize the value of what they have. Seller beware!

Low prices and Rude!! I had some old gold from my mother after she passed and ran across an ad in the local shopper paper for this place for an extra 20% as well as one in the mall for an extra 10%, so I took a zip lock bag full of stuff in to see what I could get for it. First the people here were rude and looked shady and I told them what I had and that I had a coupon. They acted like they were doing ME a favor but ended up offering me $675 (with the 20%).
