I’ve been with VW Newmarket since 2018. Never had any issues. Bought 2 cars from them and serviced them at the same dealer. Took a car for service today because of the wire hanging under the car. Got charged $197 dollars for securing it back with 2 zip ties even though I bought an extended warranty up to 200,000km. Service advisor told me extended warranty will not cover a wire because it’s hanging outside and not inside. Bought a brand new car had the sales agent texting us and pushing hard to buy it. We did end up purchasing this vehicle. Had the vehicle for 2 weeks and the brakes squeel it whines after being started and has very hard shifts called VW three separate times first call was told service will reach out to me. Second and third call I get voice mail. Still have not been contacted by VW to ask how the new purchase has been (good or bad) and havent been contacted since I spoke with them the first time. Extremely disappointed with the unsafe situation created by Volkswagen Newmarket’s vehicle delivery process. Their oversized flatbed transport trucks routinely park on a very busy public street while unloading vehicles. This blocks visibility and prevents drivers exiting the nearby plaza from making a safe and clear left turn into oncoming traffic.
