P.F. Chang’s was one of the very few corporate restaurant chains I still genuinely liked. That changed tonight. I ordered a cup of wonton soup and the Mongolian Trio as my main course. The soup took 15 minutes to arrive, and the entrée took nearly 40 minutes. I specifically requested white rice, but they first brought brown rice, then replaced it with white—yet my first bite still contained hard, uncooked (or badly overcooked) grains. Madeline is always so great!
We had a reservation for six, but not necessary as the place was virtually empty on a Friday night. Much confusion on who was our server leaving long delays in serving drinks, food or even water. My food was overdone and seemed like a half order. Very disappointing as we have always enjoyed our past experiences. Pleas to the manager, Pat, seemed to fall on deaf ears. Sad.
