It served its purpose after I had a traumatic brain injury, and for the most part , it was a nice place. I was there for 3 years and enjoyed it . I must admit I am grateful for being out of the neighborhood. I am now in the Southwest part of town, my 7 young grandkids are only 8 blocks away from me. Pettigrew was a nice place during the time I was there.
Their voicemail says 'peaceful community'. It is the opposite. One would think I'm referring to the gun range right behind us, which is assuredly very loud, but one can almost get used to those pops. I am referring to the people who live here. I have been verbally assaulted on multiple occasions, even in front of my young son. There is also one neighbor who insists on walking up and down in front of all the apartments, pulling an enormous speaker, blasting music, day and night. I have asked him to turn it down.
