In the heart of the theater district, lies this classic American restaurant that pays homage to Chicago theater legends. The 1940s ambiance and extensive list of comfort meals (which includes pre-theater and after-work specials), draws both the theater crowd as well as the downtown business community. Don't forget to try the Lemon Sole Francaise in Brown Butter Sauce, or the Prime Club Steak served with French Fries. Weekday specials, including salads, sandwiches, and pastas, are also on offer.

We had a party of 8, service & good awesome! 4 of us had the Southwest Salad! Delicious! We were celebrating a co-workers 20 year of work Anniversary! They have us complimentary chocolate cake that was heaven!
Just awesome, will definitely be back for a second round
Great bar and bartenders. Excellent food and service. I can't wait to go back!!!
The food is delicious and the atmosphere is amazing!
Outstanding service! Delicious food! We will be back!
Great experience. Stumbled upon this place waiting for family to meet up with me. Sat at bar. It was busy. But super friendly bar staff. Connects to the theater I later found out. Food was delish. Prices fair for the area. Definitely worth a stop. Lots of theater personality picks on the wall. I loved it. .
Great service! I'm Gluten intolerant and our waitress was very conscience about it. I love all the caricatures. Great food, great service!!!!
Reserved large table for a pre-Hamilton lunch. Nice atmosphere and friendly service but sluggish for lunchtime. Water glasses were empty awhile before refills arrived. Nice salads but very average Italian entrees'. Giant platter of fish and chips seemed to be the most well-received choice at our table. Not for foodies. No time to try desserts. Convenient to the show but would try a different place next time.

And when you consider that she herself was the best non-professional cook on earth, that is an unparalleled compliment for... read more
