In the heart of the theater district, lies this classic American restaurant that pays homage to Chicago theater legends. The 1940s ambiance and extensive list of comfort meals (which includes pre-theater and after-work specials), draws both the theater crowd as well as the downtown business community. Don't forget to try the Lemon Sole Francaise in Brown Butter Sauce, or the Prime Club Steak served with French Fries. Weekday specials, including salads, sandwiches, and pastas, are also on offer.

Excellent food and even better service
Excellent service! Amazing food!
So cool inside and the attention all the servers give was off the charts.....we had Daniel, who reminded me of Richard Gere......he had several tables and the attention he gave to each one made you think you were his only table. Food was excellent. We felt special. I would go back again....we told him we were going to the Cher show and he made sure we were not late for it....and the dessert????? You have to go and be surprised....excellent!!!
Fantastic ambiance, with the decor and celebrity caricatures, which compliments the great food. We also recommend the waiter, Daniel, that enhanced the dining experience! Very special place!
Food was amazing. Staff even better. Can't wait to make my way back to the city to visit again.
We sat in the bar. Very nice ambiance... Our food and drinks were very good and our waitress was very nice, friendly & accommodating. We liked the menu because it was eclectic. Appreciated they did not rush us to leave as the restaurant filled. Will definitely return, especially after a show.
The food was delicious!
Great experience!
I had the crab cake eggs Benedict which was very yummy. The crab patty was full of lump crab and not a lot of filler and the poached eggs were poached to perfection and a lovely runny yolk. Hollandaise sauce was good, but Have liked a bit more. And the tator totes were crunchy on the outside and tender on the inside. Next time trying the chicken pot pie or the avacado toast. And the Oriental Theatre was right down the street.
Business response:
Thank you for the wonderful review, hopefully we will see you again soon and you can try our wonderful Chicken Pot Pie!
