Came in for a vet appointment after some pets were exposed to bats. CDC and most vets recommend getting pets vaccinated and boosted for rabbies, but we were turned away and told to wait 10-14 days to see if symptoms develop and after that, they can give our pet the vaccine. Basically we were told to wait to see if our pet has to die. We were told that the opinions are just based on the veterinarian, but almost every single one said they should be vaccinated again ASAP. Took my dog there for the first time at that location and was very disappointed. They ended up calling me an hour and a half later telling me that my dog was being “fearful” and I needed to pick her up. My dog is almost 10 yrs old and always gets groomed but never have I ever gotten a call to pick my dog up. She ended up cutting my dog”s tail hair off but couldn’t cut her facial hair. Those available were patient at first. But I went in not knowing how much I’d have to spend, since I could not find any info online. They refused any kind of service other than fluids and scared her, and I received my cat back DAMP. I heard her yell while she was back there. I believe we were there on April 4th or 5th. She ended up passing away April 8th, a bit over a week from her 18th birthday this year.
