I took my dog to get a haircut by Lynn at 10:20am & was never called to let me know he was ready. I went up there to check a little after 1pm (because they don’t pick up the phone) to be told, “Oh...yes he’s ready!” I’m 100% sure my dog was NOT even given a bath. His eyebrows are completely uneven, some of his nails were cut & the ones that were cut look terrible...his beard is crunchy & matted. You are discriminating against impaired hearing and deaf people that needs to read lips to communicate and I am looking to sue you for that! And I’m have a medical condition that can’t wear a mask! If you want to pay me I’m happy to sue you for $$$!
Edited to change: it was a customer not an employee. I don’t think it was handled properly by the staff regardless. REALLY disappointed in what I just witnessed at this store! The fact that a lady (edited to add not an employee) walked out of Banfield (edited to add not the grooming area) yelling “I want that dog dead” was appalling. There were three police cars in the front of the store when we arrived. We went in and saw an employee holding the leash of a grey pit. He was barking and seemed stressed. I would highly highly recommend to NEVER book a training course at the Petsmart at middlebelt and Schoolcraft. I booked a course for my puppy three weeks ago, received email confirmation and spoke with the trainer Jill on the phone to confirm AFTER she already called me to tell me a class I signed up for that aligned better with my work schedule was full. I then proceeded to take work off for the next 6 weeks for her training. I walked into class today 20 minutes early to be told class is full and that my spot is not availab... read more
I literally recommend nothing about this still except not entering it. SUCH bad service it’s ridiculous.
They need loving groomers...they are purely evil to the pets. They do not try to make it a good experience and pay zero attention to the animals reactions. They have been this way here for years...if they don't like what they are hired to do they need to be fired. If the animal doesn't like the nail grinder or it is hard to trim their hair ect..quit putting them through the torture..let the owner know maybe they would be more comfortable with them in the room or with a different procedure. the staff at PetSmart are great. we've done dog training there as well as bought food and litter there too.
Love, love, love, trainer Jill. She is extremely patient and has helped us with our pup, which has been such a blessing.
