It's been a good while since my mother took her dog there, but she refuses to return to get him groomed. They didn't cut his fur at all - only an odd trim that left him with knots. They also cut off his nipples! I know that sounds funny to some people, but they really did that. Mom will never return there. She's willing to pay a little extra to get proper care from somewhere else...
I have taken my dog here several times but this last time has made me never want to go back. They were very rough with another dog when we arrived and it almost made me turn around and leave. They called me when she was done and told me she was too nervous and they couldn't do the nail grinding. Okay, that's fine. I pick her up and all seems okay until later on that night when she tries to walk and is yelping in pain. At first, I think they clipped one of her nails too short. I didn't know a simple nail trim could be so glamorous! The girls in grooming were so nice. They were gentle with my chihuahua and very friendly and even made a cute pineapple bow to match her pineapple collar! ��
Pet smart(Banfield) always take very good care of it dogs when we take them.
I made an appointment to have my two papillions groomed. I was told the price was $40. I took the next available appointment which happened to be on Friday. When I paid I was charged $43 each. When I asked for an explanation, I was told a grooming was always 3 dollars more on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I explained that no one gave me that info and I was told that it had been that way so long they didn't tell it anymore. This is completely unacceptable. Love this Pet smart but the only thing I hate about it.....All the dead fish...I saw a half eaten fish in tank and one tank had 9 dead fish in it....
