When my JRT had to have emergency surgery to repair a urethral block because of bladder stones Pet's Best was ready to help. They paid for the surgery in less than a month. My dog is still hanging out with me bc of this insurance- I can't thank them enough.
Absolutely loved this insurance until they raised the policy premium, almost doubled, because they "ENHANCED" my policy somehow without my ok. Beware of this. The year before it went up somewhere around $30 and this year it went up by $68! Fought with the rep on the phone who wouldn't give me a supervisor. They were going to prorate my premium and refund $87 but then someone else called, left a VM on my cell stating I had received horrible service and would refund total premium. I have been with pets best for several years now and this past year, my dog needed surgery. I could not believe how fast the process was! My dog had surgery on a Monday and that same Friday I received the check in the mail! They are great to work with. The process could not have been easier!
In the past Pets Best was great about covering for "medical issues" that I had with my male dog, Chance. Also with an accidental issue when both my male and female pit bull terriers (terrors) decided to take some sinus medication and needed to have their stomachs pumped (my male can open doors). However my recent experience has been a negative one and I will no longer have my pets covered because I am very upset with the situation.
