Kind, Caring and Skilled From annual visits, immunizations and grooming, we have found Animal Care Clinic to be top notch! We were in the unfortunate situation of having to put one of our dogs to sleep and Dr. Thorsgard was very kind and sympathetic. We even received a card of condolense from one of the gilrls that regularly worked with our Ellie. We currently have a Lhasa Apso dog and they are a breed that needs regular and skilled grooming. Met every request Dr. Thorsgard made himself available at all times for me even in the middle of the night on occasion. He worked Bailey in for urgent blood testing, emergency hospitalization from various chemo problems, and worked dilligently to always meet every request of the specialist. The office staff has become family to me and I will always appreciate their dilligent efforts as well to accomodate last minute needed help.
Best and most knowledgeable Dr. Thorsgard was not always my vet, but when mine retired (a man I dearly love and think is smarter than anyone in veterinary medicine) I asked him who do you recommend I go to now? He said without a doubt, the best and most knowledgeable vet in Bemidji is Dr. Eric Thorsgard at Animal Care Clinic.

I used to do my own grooming ~ but not since finding Animal Care Clinic! Animal Care Clinic has a grooming business set up in the lower level of their building. There is also a play area there for the dogs. The staff there are very friendly and good at handling animals. I am very picky about who handles my pets ~ and how they are handled. Animal Care Clinic has never disappointed me or my dogs!
Well worth the drive from Walker!!! The greatest place. The people who work here are so good at their job and you can def tell how much they love it and the animals.
