Peterson forced me to drive truck and trailer 900 miles round trip after mis-diagnosing my mother in laws car that broke down in boise during the week. They told her she needed a new motor without running a single test or pulling out a single tool. We just recently purchased a newer vehicle and when I say my husband looked up, down in and out of that vehicle before buying even got under the truck there was nothing wrong. It was 2022 ***** with only 7k miles on it and a clean report. At Peterson Chevrolet I was greeted by **** one of the salesmen. I explained my wife needed a ********. The request was for a ******** white in color with a bench seat. **** and the manager said great we can make that happen. My wife really wanted one and wrote a deposit check for the ********. I do not recommend bringing your car or truck to Petersons service department. I brought my truck in with electrical issues three different times. I ended up paying for parts that didnt fix the problem.

A discount was also offered to ************************* for the additional repairs needed, which he declined.

I purchased a GM Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Peterson Chevrolet in November 2020. I continue to have mechanical issues with this vehicle since taking delivery. I turned the vehicle in for service in March 2021 due to issues I was certain were related to the transmission, but the service department got back to me and stated the transmission checked out good. From the time of purchase, to the time he was told he needed calipers, Mr. ****** put 6500 miles on the vehicle in the 4 month he owned it, which is a fair amount. Although Petersons does not feel anything improper happened on our behalf, we did agree to reimburse Mr. Newell a portion of his repair bill, as a gesture of good faith.
