Expensive but local While it is convenient to have a hardware store in town, I must say that certain items can be way over priced. The store is cluttered and it can be hard to find what you are looking for without assistance.
It is not just a hardware store There are so many hardware stores we can go to. This one is different because it offers olso a repair service. You need to replace your front door, repair intercome system, fix or replace locks - go to Bunchers. Anything you cannot get or do yourself just ask them. Looking for a hard to find item, they will find them. Everyone in town knows them. They are in business forever and have so many grateful customers. Thank you Bunchers.
Pretty good selection Buncher's Hardware is like most other hardware stores: it has a very large supply of tools and other household necessities. The store is dimly lit, and many objects are hard to find on the high shelves, piled with this and that. Most things needed for basic handyman jobs are there, but it's hard to navigate the narrow shelves to find them. The people are gruff but helpful, for the most part, and prices are reasonable. broad selection The McKinleyville True Value is a decent hardware store. they have a large selection of goods including having a patio, graden, full paint, ad basic building materials departments. The customer service could use a friendly polishing but I still make reguler use of them.
Organized You can find anything in this store! From shovels to pool supplies! Anything that is need to the home will be here and not to mention easy to find! No need to walk long distances too or drive far with this store right in the middle of town. It's convenient!

Great Hardware Store I love this hardware store. I am horrible with remembering names of items and they always have exactly what I want, and their employees always know right where to look for it, even if you don't know the real name of the item and just describe it for them. A real treat is you can find speciality holiday items here that you cannot get at mass merchants.
Helpful Employees I've never gone into this store without the employees helping me. Many times I've gone in looking for something that my husband needed and I don't even know the name of it. All employees - even those that are teenagers are knowledgable about a lot of things I have no clue about. I'm really surprised that they know so much. It's almost like they take training classes because they know everything from fixing a toilet to putting down wood flooring or even welding something.
Contemporary Products, Old world service I've been shopping at Peter's since they opened the little store. Their products and staff haver always been top shelf. I probably go in most weekends for small stuff or paint or odds and ends for various house projects and can't ever recall not having been greeted promptly and asked if I needed help.
