No One Home Can't really form an opinion because I could not get anyone to answer the phone in service. That said I guess I would rate them poor. Can't imagine buying something from anyone and not being able to get a hold of anyone in service. I'll try Weingartz.
Great Hardware Store I love this hardware store. I am horrible with remembering names of items and they always have exactly what I want, and their employees always know right where to look for it, even if you don't know the real name of the item and just describe it for them. A real treat is you can find speciality holiday items here that you cannot get at mass merchants.
Great service! The service at Peter's is always great...and they have what I need in a convenient location. It is so nice to be able to run in and out and not have to go through a huge box store to get something. Be nice to them with your reviews! These are good folks!
Just a comment Peter's is great in all the ways people here have mentioned, but I did have some experiences there that were kind of annoying.. Three times last year I went there to buy between 3'-6' of soft copper tubing. The first time, a young guy's waiting on me. I tell him what I need, tell him don't roll it into a loop after it's cut-he says "okay" gets me what I need and that was that. Next time a woman approx 35yo is waiting on me. Whenever you need something special I`m german and i moved here about a year ago. Whenever it comes to maintaining for eaxample my STIHL chainsaw, Peter`s store is my favourite. And also whenever you need something you can`t find at Home Depot, just ask at Peter`s store and they are usually able to help you out. At the beginning i expected the prices at Peter`s store might be way higher than in the big stores, but that`s not true. Helpful Employees I've never gone into this store without the employees helping me. Many times I've gone in looking for something that my husband needed and I don't even know the name of it. All employees - even those that are teenagers are knowledgable about a lot of things I have no clue about. I'm really surprised that they know so much. It's almost like they take training classes because they know everything from fixing a toilet to putting down wood flooring or even welding something.
Cub Cadet Stinks and Poor Service I dropped off my cub cadet zero turn lawn mower at Peters on May 28th 2010. It is now September 8th 2010 and it is still not fixed...they say they are waiting for a part(bracket). This is 3.5 months!!!! This is terrible service. My cub cadet is only a couple of years old and needs service for this bracket and something wrong wth the hydralic dirves. Contemporary Products, Old world service I've been shopping at Peter's since they opened the little store. Their products and staff haver always been top shelf. I probably go in most weekends for small stuff or paint or odds and ends for various house projects and can't ever recall not having been greeted promptly and asked if I needed help.
