Cub Cadet Repair I purchased a Cub Cadet tractor from Peter's True Value Hardware three years ago and it needed repairs to be done. I have waited seven weeks and to date I have not received it back. I have called and called and all I get is that they are waiting for parts. This is a huge Cub Cadet dealer and if they can't repair something then I would never purchase a Cub Cadet from anyone. My first choice for 25 yrs These guys were here before the big box stores. I have to admit shopping at builders square, home depot, etc. When you need a unique item, knowledge, or quality parts these people are the best! Their prices are often better than the big stores. They are the best source for Briggs & Stratton parts in the area! They helped me survive my first house, kids, and small engine repairs. Highly recommended!
my favorite hardware store I like to shop at Peter's Hardware store because they have just about anything you might need. The associates have always been very helpful and informative. I usually have a lot of questions and they have always been able to explain things to me so I know how to do my project. The store is clean and well organized.

Cub Cadet Stinks and Poor Service I dropped off my cub cadet zero turn lawn mower at Peters on May 28th 2010. It is now September 8th 2010 and it is still not fixed...they say they are waiting for a part(bracket). This is 3.5 months!!!! This is terrible service. My cub cadet is only a couple of years old and needs service for this bracket and something wrong wth the hydralic dirves. Great Hardware Store I love this hardware store. I am horrible with remembering names of items and they always have exactly what I want, and their employees always know right where to look for it, even if you don't know the real name of the item and just describe it for them. A real treat is you can find speciality holiday items here that you cannot get at mass merchants.
No One Home Can't really form an opinion because I could not get anyone to answer the phone in service. That said I guess I would rate them poor. Can't imagine buying something from anyone and not being able to get a hold of anyone in service. I'll try Weingartz.
Just a comment Peter's is great in all the ways people here have mentioned, but I did have some experiences there that were kind of annoying..
