Dr. Peter Wong did my first colonoscopy over 20 years ago. He is the most professional doctor. He is gentle, kind, friendly, and very professional. He still has the same great smile, friendly greeting, and concern that he had the first time I came into his office. He never hurries or makes you feel that you are not the most important patient he will see that day. I love him!!!
Dr. Wong is the BEST! He is a very knowledgeable doctor/surgeon and a very caring person. He puts the needs of his patients first while continuing to answer their questions and concerns. He follows up personally after a procedure and several time after a surgery. Dr Wong saved my life several years ago so he will always be at the top of my list.
Dr. Wong discovered a malignant polyp during a colonoscopy. He was thorough and articulate in explaining the situation to me. After recommending treatment, which I underwent, a followup colonoscopy by Dr. Wong showed no recurrence of cancer. Dr. Wong is obviously concerned about his patients. He personally called me after each procedure to make sure that there were no post-op issues. I would highly recommend Dr. Wong for gastroenterological procedures.
Dr. Wong is an intense, thorough doctor. I have been a patient for almost two years now. Initially, I went to him based upon his Health Grades reviews and his expertise in hernias, which turned out to be very important. He did a barium CAT scan which showed I had two hernias. He recommended two great surgeons, Dr. Sherwood and Dr. Ryan, who sucessfully repair boot hernias. He discovered that I have the beginnings of Barretts Disease, which isn't serious by itself provided that it is monitored.
Dr. Wong is compassionate and cares about the well being of his patients. He provides a detailed overview of the actions that will be taken prior to starting a procedure. Upon completion of the procedure, he goes above and beyond by checking to see if his patients are recovering well and ensuring that all follow-up aftercare requirements are completed. Dr. Wong is a true professional, and I would recommend him to anyone who has Gastroenterology needs, issues and or complications.
Follow up to my review- Thank God I went with MY gut, no pun intended and did not take the horrible purple pill. I no longer have any of the problems I initially went to see him for- why? Because I did more research then most of these Drs do, because in America Drs are run by the RX companies so I holistically healed myself. I refuse to take a RX that would have caused more damage. If. Dr runs tests then turns around and offers only a RX as a solution RUN.
If anyone tells me they need a doctor in this specialty, Dr. Wong is the one I would recommend.
