Tonight, my boyfriend took me to PSI to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I ordered the beef tenderloin and when the server brought me my food, he noticed the steak was well done after I ordered it medium. The waiter insisted on getting me a new one and I had a perfectly cooked steak less than 5 minutes later. The staff was all very friendly and they even had the pianist play happy birthday for me. The food, atmosphere, and service was amazing and we will definitely be returning.
Had dinner on Saturday evening with a friend I hadn't seen in a long time. We both had the lobster special and it was fabulous. The staff and service were excellent.
We always enjoy our dining experience at PSI. This time we were celebrating my wife's birthday. We arrived early and started out with having wine on the porch overlooking the ocean while wating for our table to be ready. The staff provided us glasses and opened our wine. They were so great! Absolutely accommodating-- and the service from the hostesses to the waiters was excellent. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the burrata and the tuna tartar to start, then split the salmon and finished with the lava cake. Everything was on point. If you get a chance to go, do! Plus the Inn/Restaurant is so adorable. Their live piano player played the Beatles, Yann Tiersen, Bowie... My boyfriend and I were enchanted.
Food is outstanding!! The waiter was helpful and informative. Like that it is BYOB! Pricey but worth it.

We have been visiting Peter Shields restaurant for the last 3 seasons on our trip to Cape May and never had a bad experience. The food has layers of flavors, the waiter/waitress staff are very knowledgeable and extremely polite, to the live piano music playing in the background. We are considering reserving the private balcony for two table in the near future. If we lived closer it would definitely be on our list of date night regular visits. But, since we live 3.5 hours away..once a year will have to do.. for now!! Always, great food, great atmosphere and great service!
