My husband, Mark, was seen by Dr. Vasiu, in an initial visit on October 17, 2024. I am Mark's wife, and I am a retired R.N. I personally was very impressed with Dr. Vasiu's knowledge, skill in examining my husband, and in explaining results of x-rays taken. Dr. Vasiu was rude, uncaring and dismissive and tried to rush through the appointment. I would not trust this man to operate on me.
Dr. Vasiu performed surgery on my daughter's arm. She trusts him all the way. I too have learned to trust Dr. Vasiu after witnessing my daughter's surgery and how much it helped her. Right now, my daughter is in excrutiating pain in the same arm after hurting herself while lifting arm weights. When I called Dr. Vasiu's office in Grand Rapids, they did everything in their power to get her in to see Dr. Vasiu. We are hoping for the 14th as my daughter Heidie Higley is suffering, and has been, for over a week now.
Doctor seemed very knowledgeable. Wished he would of had a mask on.
I had my shoulder operated on TWICE, with little if ANY improvement! Now, years later, I am worse off than EVER! I do NOT recommend this medical facility for ANY serious procedure!!!
Dr. Vasiu repaired my meniscus in 2019 and recommended that I undergo an ACL reconstruction at that time. I was nervous about that course of treatment and he worked with me to try and treat my issue without surgery. Eventually, I decided to follow his advice and had my ACL reconstructed and am now on the road to recovery. He is professional, does a great job of explaining different avenues of treatment, and does his best to provide treatment that aligns with your end goal.
Explains my knee pain. Gave me options on what to do.
Dr Vasiu was recommended by my primary physician and did a tremendous job on my shoulder I would highly recommend him
Dr. Vasiu treated me for several years. He did a partial knee replacement for me and helped with pain for my knees. When I decided I needed surgery on the other knee which he had been recommending, he abruptly told me to find another surgeon. I asked for an explanation in person and in writing and was never provided one. For this reason, I will not ever return to him and do not recommend him we're hoping to have some.
