I can only do HYDE PARK work until further notice. I am so grateful for all the calls, jobs and kind words from Yelpers! But my staff is way down and I am overwhelmed. Thank you thank you thank you! Peter is my go-to in Hyde Park for all my electrical service. I've called him for both large jobs - rewiring a breaker box in an old condo - and small jobs - installing smart switches in a newer unit - and everything in-between. He's skilled, personable, and efficient. I'll continue to call him anytime my wires get crossed, and I recommend you do the same.
I highly recommend Peter. He has a solid and very positive reputation throughout Hyde Park. He rewired my 1920s condo and did a lot of electrical work for my mom out in the immediate Chicago suburbs. He is the *only* electrician I'd use! Why experiment when you have the best?
Peter is someone I would most highly recommend and will definitely turn to in the future. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and clean. I contacted Peter about an electrical problem that I was having and even before coming, he tried to help me troubleshoot the issue. While I wasn't able to solve the problem on my own, the fact that Peter was willing to forgo my business to help me troubleshoot meant a lot. I recently had a fairly extensive electrical short in my house. I soon found out that whoever did the original wiring, did not do the work up to code, and everything was a mess to figure out. Pete was up to the task and got the job done. I would highly recommend him to anyone with electrical problems. He knows his stuff and he's also very honest.
