Dr Yoon has already did one neck surgery on me many years back. He told me then that i would eventually need another disc replacement and he was correct. I will be getting another surgery soon by Dr. Yoon and would not choose any other surgeon to work on my neck. I know sometimes he seems like he rushes the appointments, but he tells you how it is and what is wrong and if he can fix it or not. I like his personality for that reason. I recommend him all the time.
A little condescending, not concerned with my pain because I didn’t fit his predetermined picture of a surgical candidate. Offered no options other than suggesting I see a chiropractor. He did review my mri with me and explained it, which was great, he just didn’t care enough about my pain to want to help since I didn’t fall into his textbook best practices. Maybe he was having a bad day. At the end of our discussion he left the room dismissively I didn’t know if I was supposed to wait for someone to walk me out or not, so I... read more
Not good . He did not listen to me and in two visits did not see problem with T12 . I had to call his office after reading a second xray review that suggested MRI . Result is I have to wear a brace for six months . Would not recommend . Terrible bedside manner. Seeing another doctor in his practice .
Dr. Yoon is an excellent surgeon. One year ago he performed a microdiscetomy- L4/L5. I had some nerve damage in my right leg when the disc slipped, but I can honestly say I am 95% healed. Dr. Yoon is right to the point, honest, and very knowledgeable.
I have lower back problems with very specific symptoms and when it didn't his one or two expectations, he said "I dont know" and then asked me what I wanted to do. What I want to do??? I'm not the doctor. What i want is the pain to go away. You are supposed to tell me how. He didn't even try to figure it out. He is supposed to be an expert, i would expect him to do some research and try and figure it out. He just threw up his hands up and said this isnt what I usually see so I have no idea and I can't help you. He was pretty... read more
Does not even listen to the patient properly, horrible - any other doctor will be better i guess!
Dr. Yoon has done three surgeries on me. He is an excellent surgeon with a calm, reassuring demeanor about him.
Dr Yoon is very experienced. He is highly professional and provides clear diagnosis, best plan of action and follow-up instructions. I am having a Third issue where I have come to him and I find myself totally at ease and with confidence in his course of treatment. Excellent doctor!
This was my first visit. I did not like him .He came off as condescending.
