Dr Ameglio was recommended to me by a radiology technician for an issue I was having with my hip and said his SuperPath surgery would be a good option for me. I scheduled a consult with him on January 23rd, he performed surgery on February 7th and less than 4 weeks later I am walking pain free! I had my first hip replacement in April 2024 and had great results. January 3, 2025 I had the other hip replaced. I am back to normal walking and water aerobics and will play my first 18 holes of league golf tomorrow. I have been chipping and putting for 2 weeks and played 9 holes last week. My return to pickleball and softball will be a little longer but hope within another month. I am a retired nurse and appreciated the information given me by Dr Ameglio and his staff. Peter Ameglio and his team are outstanding. I was referred by an ER Dr, after my x-ray revealed a break and dislocated thumb. I was seen by Dr. Ameglio two days later, and was in surgery with him the following day. I found him thoughtful, kind, and intelligent. He started by asking me what I use my thumb for, which is - itself - a funny question. Dr. Ameglio was very professional, and helped me get my surgery scheduled in a timeline that was to allow me to still fly 1 month post surgery to attend a family reunion. My appointment was only 6 weeks prior to my flight. He answered all questions and was very helpful. His office staff, (Amanda and Heather) are awesome! They were very kind and empathetic to my pain on first visit.
