My son had emergency appendectomy at 5:00pm at UCHealth hospital on 9/15/21. The urgent care and hospital are on my insurance plan and we entered through the ER because the Urgent Care told us to. We found out after the fact that Doctor Phan was not on our plan and they Surprised billed for the balance billing. I have been fighting this ever since even fighting it in Douglas County Court and the judge still found in favor of the plaintiff so I have to pay an additional $2843.79.
