My husband and I enjoy spending anniversaries and other special occasions having dinner at the Peter Herdic House Restaurant. It's elegant, the food is spectacular, and the service is impeccable. I also appreciate that the Miele family restored a significant local landmark, and created a unique and thriving business there.
We chose this restaurant solely based on reviews here. Beautiful restaurant and ambience. Food presentation very classy. Drinks great. Food OK only. I had the scallops with polenta. Totally flavorless. As was my appetizer. I said to my dining partner "you've got to try this". He did and said, "this doesn't taste like anything." His meal was just as flavorless. Beautiful restaurant, delicious food, great staff!
We had a large group to celebrate my sister's retirement. Win, cocktails and treats downstairs for an hour and transitioned to upstairs private dining room for dinner for 25. Everything was perfect and scrumptious! We had bottles of wine and no one went away hungry. The staff was very attentive and accommodating to all the guests' wants and needs. We recently stayed at the Inn and really enjoyed it. The house is beautiful, the room is cozy and the breakfast was delicious! If we find ourselves in town again, we will stay again!
