I've been seeing Dr. Nardone for two decades. He provides excellent care, is extremely knowledgable, energetic, and interested in your care. He's been with me through Lasik and most recently, cataract surgery on both eyes. His recommendations and follow up care were excellent. After Lasik I had 20/15 vision and after having cataracts removed I have 20/20 distance vision. I simply couldn't ask for more from my eye doctor.
Patients have forms to complete, one which seems quite harmless that gives permission for the business to bill your health insurance, which would be fine if you are made aware that a routine exam just morphed into a health exam - the key is being "made aware" of the change in direction of the appointment. According to the practice, by signing and agreeing to allow them to bill your health insurance, you have apparently sign away all of your rights.
My son has been seeing Dr. Nardone since he was 6 years old. He is now a junior at VCU! He loves him; he gives great explanations, has a wonderful "bedside" manner and makes each patient feel special by remembering something personal about them. Hes just the best!

Dr. Nardone is the best! Ive been a patient for many years. He is very thorough and has a great personality. He doesnt just explain what is going on with my eyes, but he takes time to listen to what I have to say. He also takes time out to ask about me, in general, how I am doing. What a considerate and caring person!!! On my last visit, Dr. Nardone had someone training with him and was considerate enough to tell me and asked if that was okay with me. Dr. Nardone is a great eye doctor. Both of my teenage sons would not go to anyone else. He is very funny and jokes with them which makes the visit much less stressful. He also is very thorough in his explanations of changes in their eyes and vision.
