Is an amazing doctor, fixed my thumb issue and pain within two weeks
Last visit staff took me to wrong exam room and waited almost 1/2 hour before other doctor came in to tell me I was taken to wrong room. Waited 3 weeks for next appointment made over phone for an emergency, unable to use left hand. Showed up for appointment at only office I’d ever been to and told that that appointment had been scheduled at their other office. Unbelievable
Dr. Townsend is an excellent clinician. He is extremely knowledgeable, caring and has a great bedside manner. I've gone to Dr. Townsend for wrist and elbow issues. Each time he was able to diganose my problem and provide treatment options which ultimately led to resolving my issues.
Everything from first exam Thur surgery and two follow up appts went as planned and was 100% successful!

Dr.Townsend is one of the best hand and arm specialist I've ever had the pleasure to see. He fixed my arm 14 years ago and didn't a wonderful job and I was able to return to a job I love. Thank you Dr.Townsend and staff wonderful experience and I'd always come back to you if I ever needed too.
Very knowledgeable. Straightforward explanations of your condition & explains your condition with words that the patient can understand. Very matter of fact person.
This doctor and staff will be your best friends until they get your surgery scheduled and they make the big bucks. Then trying to get in with post-operative concerns is impossible. You will get a nurse practitioner who won't be able to answer any questions, or you will wait hours (yes, hours) to see Dr. Townsend who will be rushed and unhelpful. It is like buying a car at this place, once you are 'out of warranty', they don't care about you. Now starting with a new hand specialist
Dr. Townsend operated on my wrist and repaired the carpal tunnel. He did a great job and I feel so much better now! Spent time talking with me about the procedure and answering my questions.
