Horrible communication and no compassion for patients. Everyone that works in the emergency there just see it like its there job. Crazy how someone can be in so much pain they sitting down at there computers watching a person struggle and crying but nore worried about what to buy online. With my own eyes ive seen it all. WE ALL ARE HUMANS WE BLEED JUST LIKE YOU DOCTORS..RN..PA DO ! I refuse to go back to this hospital for any type of treatment or anything. I love that Brigham & Women's Hospital includes integrative services within Nursing. I offer Reiki every Friday to Staff and patients at Brigham & Women's hospital, and it is beautiful. Everyone benefits from it. Reiki balances the mind and the body, accelerates healing, and is very relaxing. My adult daughter just spent 3 days there and had excellent care. Unfortunately the lack of communication before her admission was deplorable. She went from almost being transferred by ambulance to waiting almost a month to get admitted. The communication between 2 different departments was horrible. When they say "I will check and call you right back" it means nothing! They really have to get their act together as far as communication. Even as an in-patient, there was lack of communication from the docs to the nurses.
THANK YOU BRIGHAM AND WOMEN'S HOSPITAL! The care that your staff gave to my dad before and after his endarterectomy was exceptional! A HUGE shout out to Dr. GRAVEREAUX and everyone who helped him during the operation! Thank you to nurse Kerri for making my family feel comfortable and cared for in the PACU before the operation and to Nurse Annemarie on 8th floor for looking after my dad after the surgery.
