Dr Hanson is amazing Ortho Provider, very professional, very kind, and not to mention always pleasant. My visits are always pleasurable, And his wait time is next to none. Dr Hanson is attentive to my care and concerns. A very knowledgeable and compassionate provider , he is willing to go above and beyond to provide what is necessary for the best methods of treatment. Had my hip replace 1 year ago 3/2018. Dr. Hanson is very caring, thorough, and takes time to ask questions and makes sure I am happy and satisfied. The way a doctor should treat his patient.
Indeed this is the surgeon for hip replacement. His skill, his attention, his sincere care for you is most appreciated. He takes time to talk through questions, concerns and advice. His respect for the patient is clearly a genuine commitment and an added bonus to his competence.
This was my second THR with Dr. Hanson within 6months of the first. His technical capability in this area is without peer. My recovery on the second hip was miraculous in terms of the short amount of recovery time (2-3wks). His staff are excellent and very customer oriented to insure the best outcome. Highly recommended!!! Sharp Grossmont with their robotics table insures the best outcome with Dr. Hanson's technical expertise!
Dr. Hanson did my anterior hip replacement and I chose him above every orthopedic surgeon in San Diego County -- even after interviewing a few others. Not only is he the upmost professional, but he has a wonderful bedside manner. I am so happy I chose him and I am only 9 days out and in some pain. He is the best!!!!
Before choosing Dr. Hanson as my surgeon, I had gone to about seven or eight surgeons. Although these doctors were considered top in their field, no one could compare with Dr. Hanson. Not only is he an extremely skilled top doctor, but he is also a caring and compassionate person. Both factors are equally important to me. Everyone at his office, from start to finish, Was a reflection of Dr. Hanson himself. I highly recommend Dr. Hanson!

From start to finish I had stellar care at this office. Everyone is prompt & helpful. Drs & other employed are prompt efficient & kmowlegable. X-rays in same office made this much easier. I found dr Hansen attentive & using anterior approach hip Replace meant I walked out of hospital next day & in 4 days walked the IB pier unassisted. Takes awhile to heal, but can still easily get around & back to life & work.
I recently had a total replacement of my right hip by Dr. Hanson. To say that I am pleased by the outcome, would be a total understatement! Every step in the process ... from the Joint Education program, to our pre-op conversation, my post-op recovery, my hospital stay (and numerous walks around the nurses station), my very quick recovery, and post-op follow up visit ... have all gone way better than I had expected! Highly recommend this guy and his wonderful staff!
