Thank you Dr. Ameglio!!! Dr. Ameglio performed my right total hip SuperPATH hip replacement. I live in Clearwater Florida 2.5 hours drive from Dr Ameglios office and he is worth the drive!!! I gave Dr Ameglio only 5 stars because it would not let me give him 10 stars!!! 5 stars is an understatement for this Dr!!! Dr. Ameglio and his staff are all 10 stars!!! Dr Ameglio is an incredible person and doctor. Warm, caring, excellent listening are second only to his surgical expertise. He has replaced both of my hips over 2 1/2 years. Each time he employed the Super Path methodology. 40 minute surgeries with 2"-3" incisions! Amazing. Both recoveries and results are exemplary. Arms/legs are even. Was walking immediately. TWICE BLESSED I shared my health challenge with Dr Ameglio (who was recommended) that I had bilateral hip osteoarthritis. While I have a high threshold for pain by nature, I was most intrigued by this Super path hip replacement surgery. Super-path preceded it’s s name.I asked if he could heal me. I went to see doctor amyglio thinking. I had a problem with my hip sent me for x-rays. It was not my hip, he did a physical exam, and it seemed to be my S1 joint in my low back. Set me up for an appointment for a shot. The pain went away. I was good for at least 3 months. It started coming back slightly. I received another shot. And occasionally I would feel that discomfort that I had thinking it was my hip, so I made the decision of getting what they call the I fuse.
