After having the second part of my ankle reconstruction, I have to say it again, THE BEST surgeon in western PA, I have little doubt. An absolute rock star while being humble, professional, great bedside manner, explains everything perfectly, and is meticulous with his procedures. If not for him I would most likely have a limp the rest of my life if I didn’t lose my foot which was a possibility. But he reconstructed my ankle and it’s starting to feel good. Highly recommend Dr. Siska! I arrived by ambulance to Presby with a GSW to my left leg. He was so calm, sweet, knowledgeable and always smiling even when I was throwing a fit. He had to do 2 surgeries while I was there cutting my leg from thigh to calf and even saved my tattoos the best he could. When I went for a checkup because I had severe nerve and muscle damage and PTSD symptoms, he took the time to sit and listen and do everything he could to make me feel better! Best doctor I could have asked for! I slipped and broke my tibula, fibula, and ankle, and he put me back together very well. He is so nice, and before my surgeries he was very comforting, and confident. I would recommend him every time.
Dr Siska is an excellent Surgeon. My broken tibia and fibula, complicated by compartment syndrome was very traumatic. Dr Siska repaired my leg and gave me back the ability to walk again.. He's caring and patient and will sit and explain everything to you. I HIGHLY recommend him.
Dr.Siska is a great surgeon he fixed my hip correctly after doctors in Indiana (the state) put me back together wrong causing the implant to fail and turn into a nonunion fracture. It was a difficult surgery that took about 7hrs and left me with a longer than normal recovery time(because of the original doctors screwing up). But I am now up and going with minimal pain and that is just because Muscles are now getting used properly.
