We had him out here this morning. We have a live oak tree growing over our property less than 10 feet from out house, growing in our neighbor's land. According to his article, one of the worst 3 trees to plant near your house. We were upset about the damage to our roof, the mess, including constantly filling our gutters, mosquitos, etc. He walked off the site, saying not to contact him or his company again. Complete surprise. We obviously dodged a bullet there.
Absolutely zero care given to their surroundings. They are removing a tree next to our business property right now on one of the windiest days of the year. They gave us no warning or any kind of heads up, we had to move cars due to the amount of wood chips and bark they were getting pelted with due to their work. Their entire conversation with one employee who had to move his car was "this yours?". Road is being reduced to 1 lane at a time by employees with no signage. Real amateur hour.
RecommendedGreat tree trimming service and customer service. Ricky and his crew did a great job and nothing fell on my pool cage. Everything was cleaned up and quickly put back up my fence that had to be removed to do the job safely. Would recommend to others!
We would not recommend P&R to anyone after what they did to our once beautiful live oak. We had used them in the past prior to this and have had no issues with the work, but never again. They did not do what was discussed with the "salesman" that looked at the tree initially and have left the tree with irreparable damage while also causing property damage. Their arborist/salesman came to the house and quoted a job that was only to trim back needed dead branches and some others that were getting too close to our roof. It was ... read more

Pete and Ron's is truly the best tree service in Tampa. They also live up to their motto "Quality Work at a Reasonable Cost". We used them to remove a dead Grand Oak from our yard a couple years ago and they did an excellent job. The entire staff is extremely nice, professional, and always willing to help! Needless to say, when a tree took out our house during Hurricane Irma, we knew who we wanted to get that tree off our house.
