I took my truck in for a grinding noise. I was told the front brakes were metal to metal. Robert told me that the rotors were able to be resurfaced and the only thing I needed was front brake pads. Robert gave the option for premium or standard brake pads. Since I tow a trailer, I opted for premium pads. The pricing was excellent and the truck was finished by the time promised. I have been bring my's, my mother's, and son's vehicle to pete's for many years. including my RV. the work/repairs has always been the best! the service is always with a smile. they drive me home and pick me up. the front office (Mike) is great and has always explained the billing before and afterwards, and has called if problems arise and explained the issue. nothing gets done to your car unless you approve it! my name is Tom shimonowsky im in the phone book call me and ill tell this in person.

Pete Nelsons FAIL Repaired my AC 4/27/12. Cost me 2900.00 with a 1 year warranty. Compressor blew out 5/22/13. Treated rudely and since it was out of warranty by 2.5 weeks they wouldnt do a thing for me. Not even waive the $70 diagnostic fee! went to another reputable shop who looked at it for free and was quoted 1000.00 for the same job and parts! I was gouged. The manger Robert Smithhart is rude. Nelson Fixed It! They fixed my car right the fist time. I went to 4 other mechanics to fix the engine light to no avail. A Peoria Police Officer told me that he takes his cars to Pete Nelsons, so I gave them a try. They fixed it within 3 hours! These Guys are my Heroes.

GREAT SERVICE +++ Love this place! I am a school teacher so I have to watch my budget. Being a female, I really hate having to go to an automotive repair shop, but they put me at ease. They were prompt, courteous, and gave me a deal that was the best I got in town (unlike a certain shop in Litchfield Park). I tell all the teachers to take their vehicles here and they have nothing but great things to say. I highly recommend them!
