Pete Moore VW has a $500 military incentive program for military & first responders, However, they will not accept a Department of Defense Military ID as proof for eligibility. It appears that a departmental ID is OK for first responders. VW Customer Care cannot explain why a military ID is not acceptable. Pete Moore demands a pay statement be used as proof. We took our 2019 VW Atlas in for 80K service. The "package" on their site listed a price of $756.15. It also had a breakdown of all the items included in the package for this price. When we arrived for our appointment, the service representative told us the price would be over $1500. When I showed her the price listed on their website, she said it didn't include things like transmission fluid change and replacing the spark plugs.
