Pete Black Plumbing & Water Pete Black Plumbing was prompt and courteous - they arrived on time and explained what they were doing as they worked. They unplugged my drains in an hour and charged as quoted. Will use Pete Black's services in the future.
Terrible Plumber Do not use this plumber. Our comments mirror the other concerns expressed here. They never quote an actual number for the job, run the bill up with multiple calls and have a very unprofessional demeanor. There is no rational for his billing or business practices. Keep going through the phone book to the next plumber and save yourself the hassle.
Best in the Business I have had several plumbing problems and Pete has been there everytime for me. He even came on a Sunday. If you ever need a plumber "Pete Black" is the person to call.
Extortion is the game, Pete Black Plumbing is the name If for some reason you hire this company, I recommend you pay VERY close attention to what Mr. Black is billing you for. I spoke with several people that he sued for his payment in full. Everyone I spoke with agreed that Pete Black only wanted to ensure another service call with the client. called and never came We had a huge back up/flood in our basement - this was one of the many plumbers that I called. They never called us back - the person told us that we would be getting a call as soon as possible - to sit tight - they would call us back to set up the time - we never heard from them. Would not recommend them for this reason. Plumbing is about 70% emergency work and we got about -100% from this company.
Pete Black Plumbing - rude! Tried several times to reach Mr. Black after receiving a positive recommendation. Each time the phone staff were rude, interrupting me, asking me several times to repeat, saying they couldn't hear me. When, after the third repetition, I raised my voice so they could hear me on this last call, staff member said, since I was yelling, she was going to hang up, I hung up.
Crooked Plumber! We were VERY unhappy with Pete Black. We had water damage in our dining room coming from the master bath upstairs. We called him to come take a look. He was supposed to come at 4:00 and didn't end up showing up until close to 8:00p.m. (Later in his bill he charged us for "an after hours call.") He was very unprofessional, even swearing in front of our two year old. He showed up with another guy and ended up charging us for "two laborers." He pulled out a ton of dry wall in our dining room.
