Service awful .I arrived at the store 15 minutes early to have the dogs nails trimmed and 10 minutes into the wait a woman barges in with 2 dogs right past everyone else who is waiting. I open the door and was abruptly told to wait. I asked if the lady had an appointment and she stated No. I asked that she leaves and waits her turn. I was told that she was inside first. Sorry but that is just not right.
Fair warning: this is an incredibly difficult story to tell. Animal lovers, especially Goldendoodle owners, beware. Today, my son Sparkle, a Chocolate Tuxedo Goldendoodle, had the worst experience with Petco grooming Ann Arbor. He had an appointment scheduled 12 weeks in advance. After 7 years of consistently shopping in your stores I will no longer be a customer. You practice false advertising through your online services. Repeat Delivery boasts 1-2 day shipping and I was informed by two different customer service representatives that 2-5 day shipping is what’s honored and nothing more. My son bought a gerbil there and was told it was a male. Well, turns out it's a female because now we have pups to deal with. You need better employees then graham and Eric. I accidentally called the employee ma’am instead of sir. They had a mask on and makeup on so Idk how I was supposed to know. The floor staff here could learn to be a lot kinder to people when buying fish. I asked my friend to buy some fish for me. I had surgery and can’t leave my house right now. Staff was extremely rude when she asked for a discount on a betta fish that had a fin deformity. The store didn’t breed the fish. Why are associates being so hateful about asking for a discount? Just say no respectfully and move on with your hateful self. This is the SECOND time I’ve seen this behavior from staff. Fix it.
Maddie the groomer for my girl dog named Marley, was amazing. She gave my dog a wonderful haircut . Crys a sales rep was very kind and walked us around to things we were interested in. He gave us info on things like dog food, proper harnesses and crested geckos and leopard geckos. The prices were reasonable but the atmosphere was hands down positive. Maybe it had something to do with the lovely weather.
