I went into this location for some cat supplies and walked by the ferrets and this is what their food bowl looks like. The cage was disgusting and there were 5 of them in there. The food bowl and toys were caked in feces. I’ve owned ferrets before and you can’t have that many in a small space like that without cleaning it regularly. I won’t be shopping here for anything else.
Ordered thru Petco for same day delivery of dog food. Apparently this service is offered through Door Dash. I have the Door Dash app but nothing is linked through my phone number, name, account or anything. Door Dash shows up.. her name is Isabella. Attempts to drop off my order except it is NOT my order. The worst haircut for my labradoodle, who shaves a tail? Speechless when I saw her! Every time we go there, a different person, different experience, different price. I've lost my patience. Thank god it's summer. I will not be back and urge you to seek a different groomer in GH.
petso grooming has changed so much. brought my dog in to get nails yrimmed (11 year old Labrador, I requested they do not put him on a lift table as he had ACL surgery on both knees. They trimmed and buffed but I was told that if he can't get on a lift table, they will not do his nails. I have brought all 3 dogs in with no problem and now this? INSULTING
Today when I went to purchase crickets and worms, my son was misbehaving. I was actively disciplining him. The young lady at the counter leans over and tells him sternly that if he doesn't behave the crickets will jump out of the cage and get into his bed. A. never disciine someone else's child. B. that is just scaring them,and mean. Especially to my son who is only 4 years old and has nightmares about bugs in his bed due to a recent bad experience with ants. Absolutely NOT OK. Train your employees better.
RecommendedJoe Price is a dog trainer at Gig Harbor Petco. When we got our puppy Keli we tried all the usual ways to train her. We had both had many puppies before, Keli was not the usual puppy. The Vet said she was a Dominant Insecure personality which made her hard to train, when she couldn’t control her environment she went into a puppy “panic” attack and became rather manic. My grandma purchased 3 butterfly koi here recently, except one turned out to be a pretty goldfish. I went back the next day, asked the cashier who greeted me what kind of fish it was and they said it was a goldfish also. However, once I explained the situation and agreed that it was a goldfish, it was taken back to the manager and upon return they told me it was a koi. I was certainly taken aback by the flip.
