Everytime I have walked into this store the staff have been helpful, friendly, patient, and kind. I seriously, in 2 yrs, haven't had one bad experience! Tonight they went above and beyond....I called ahead to see if they had crickets (that "other" pet store on the west side was out!) Not only did they have them but she asked what size and how many and bagged them and put them up front along with the container of mealworms I needed. I had a VERY long day and this simple thoughtfulness really made all the difference.
Something that really irritates me about Petco is that they do not price match their own website. I bought an e-collar for my little poodle so that she would stop licking a sore. Online the collar that I bought was $8.99, but in store it was $14.99! They would not match the online price for me. So, essentially I would have to wait a week or more and pay shipping if I purchased online in order to get the lower price. It's just ridiculous. I work in retail and we take care of our customers. We price match our own website.
