I am a former Petco employee, stopped by yesterday to show my toddler the critters. I was so disappointed in the dad state of the aquariums. I realize it was over a decade ago now, but the Eau Claire store once had gorgeous, well maintained saltwater tanks. There is now more algae than fish in the tanks. I don't know if management has changed or what, but it is so sad to see the state of the aquatic habitats.

I am done shopping at Petco! I purchased some canned dog food for our dog in EauClaire, WI. When the cashier rang up my purchase I asked if it was on special, the cashier said she didn’t know. I went back to the shelf to find out it was if I purchased another can so I did. Cashier said she would have to credit my debit card and rIng my purchase up again. After watching my account for a week there was no refund, I called the store and they said it would take 2-3 weeks for my refund! I waited another week still nothing, I call... read more
Reported a store because the reptile habitats were in terrible condition...like a dead animal that had no food or water. Was then informed I was banned...yeah cause banning someone is better than just taking proper care of animals.
RecommendedI find this to be a well run pet store. Well organized and clean and a pleasant staff. I did note that the staff today was very busy cleaning and maintaining cages and taking good care of the pets. I also note they had three adorable cats from Dunn County Humane for adoption.....beautiful cats.....for only $60 adoption fee. That’s a great deal . I have never unused the grooming . But we have used the Vetco clinic and it’s a money saver for small things like shots
You are terrible. I was in last night and told the guy there that there was a sick neared dragon I went back this morning and it was still there. You make me sick!!!! Get your crap together!!! I reported you to corporate as well. ALL YOUR HABITATS ARE FILTHY. You should be ashamed.
Please do not visit, support this store or purchase from it. They have a clearly sick dragon which a customer notified the store, store manager as well as corporate and to date nothing has been done. This poor dragon is suffering, he appears to be under weight, his leg position has not moved in 2 days and other dragons are walking all over him.
