Southridge location better staff I've used the self grooming stations here for my medium sized dog. The girl in the grooming salon insisted that I don't change the temperature setting of the water --- it was luke warm at best and my dog was shivering!! I no longer take my dog to the Brookfield location, instead I go to the Petco by Southridge Mall. High priced pet supplies Petco has very high prices for many of the same products that other pet stores carry. Often times I find products there that other stores down the road carry for a fraction of the cost. Also, their employees are often hard to find, and do not know much about their product. I do not recommend their grooming services either. We did the self wash when we first brought our puppy home. The lady did not even show us around or tell us where to get the items we needed. PetCo Brookfield We have used them from grooming services for our lab/shepard mix. They are reasonable in price, friendly and do a very good job. Their supplies are pretty typical and not over priced.
Pet Grooming Went to the Petco Grooming service because they could get me in that day and the price was a little less but as the sayiing goes, "you get what you pay for". Friendly staff but they didn't do a good job, had to take the dog elsewhere. PROS: friendly staff CONS: not a very qualified staff
They put a little bit of bleach on their animals for they can die quicker and you come back for another one. I found this out the hard way because I kept on coming back to this place.. kinda sad.
love the staff here! super helpful and awesome customer service. When I first got my cat they were eager to help me and share their knowledge. my kitty Ghostface loves to join me when I shop here and the employees don't mind at all! he loves to hang out on their shoulders! The staff have also helped me carry things to my car when ghostface isn't ready to leave and have shared there pet experiences with me. my favorite Petco to go to! feels like home.
Worst place to go in the entire universe. Supposedly you should be able to any Petco however their computer doesn't show your account from one store to another. Then one person will ask for the last name and zip code which they couldn't find our account using that. The next person asks for our "petco number" really with the ten zillion numbers we have to remember these days I'm going to remember a Petco number? NOT! Then I'm told they need the last name and phone number. So which one is It? Doesn't matter, there are too many... read more
