I just moved here in May from Milwaukee, WI and I refuse to shop at Petsmart for personal reasons so I go to petco. Anyway, my dog Jake gets his bath & nails grinded here, that's really all we go here for. Sometimes I'll get him a new toy or whatever. I did just get him a new crate bed & crate cover & he's digging being in his crate now. I don't buy his food here because unfortunately the only place that carries it is in Ham Lake. But, I've never had any problems with this location for what I use it for!
I usually shop at both petco and petsmart to even it out. Today I took my dog with me to petco and was asked to leave because he made a fellow shopper uncomfortable. Talk about breed discrimination.... I was shopping with a quiet well behaved dog while listening to a woman yell at her dog to stop barking, and pulling and lunging. And I get asked to leave! What the hell?? I won’t be shopping at your locations ever again! Absolutely disgusting!
Petco grooming is awesome! always take good care of my dog with her bath, nails, ears, and teeth!
Not happy that an employee put a live mouse in to feed the snake, Petco is big on using dead mice or other food to feed the pets however because this mouse had a missing tail she decided to throw it in with the snake, my child does not need to see a mouse fight for her life. Employee had a horrible attitude, Petco just lost my business.
I don’t usually go to this Petco but on a whim the other day I went to get some crickets for my bearded I just got two weeks ago.. The people in the reptile department answered a couple questions about where the crickets were and I asked about meal worms for my bearded dragon.. the guy in the department recommended I get small instead of mini because the minis were too small... so I did. Here I am 3 days later and my bearded dragon has passed away from Impaction!!!! IF YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT THE ANIMALS DONT ANSWER A QUESTION!!... read more
