RecommendedLove the Augusta Petco! I go here to get fish for my aquarium at home and work. The lady who works in the fish department is always helpful and knowledgeable. I appreciate that she asks questions to make sure that the fish being bought are going to be in the correct tank size and have compatible tank mates. She is a fish hobbyist herself and can tell you anything you want to know!
ordinarily love this place. the staff is always helpful and considerate. Today however, I'd remove a star. I called ahead knowing there's been some issues with freshwater fish and plant sales, so I called ahead to be sure that I could indeed purchase fish. I was informed that only certain fish could be sold today and that the fish I wanted was on the safe for sale list. after a 40 minute ride, there was one fish of the variety I wanted, and it was barely swimming. I don't know the employee's name but she always makes our visits extremely unpleasant. We went in to adopt a treefrog, and she said to us "Why? He's so boring." Another time we went to buy crickets and she asked us if we could come back in an hour. Are you kidding me? No thanks, I'll go to Petsmart instead.
Rude staff that have no respect for customers. Don't forget PetSmart isn't far away

awesome service They're happy to answer any questions.. Got our first leopard gecko there and occasionally visit the other Reptiles
So everytime I go there and get a animal, they die within a week or two.
Kelsie the trainer at Petco did a wonderful job with our golden retriever Athena. If I ever get another puppy I will bring it there for training!
