Mistreatment of my pet I am glad that there is finally a place where I can share my experience about this store. 2 1/2 years ago I was moving and had to get rid of my male sugar glider. I had tried to find him a good home for months. As a last resort, I called Pet World and asked if they would take him (since I knew that they had sold them before). LOOK FOR YOURSELF!!! I am convinced that the myriad of people (all female names) are either a disgruntled employee or customer who is trying to give the store a bad name. Unfortunately this happens on the Internet. Please go into the store for yourself and look around, ask questions and see for yourself. Most of us can discern a bad pet business from a one that cares.

This place is disgusting I personally don't see how this location has managed to stay in business. The animals are housed with absolutely no regard to their safety or comfort- the tanks and cages are always dirty and severely lacking mental stimulation for the animals, and they're usually overcrowded . While they do have a very wide variety, the animals are crammed into a space suitable for maybe a third of their selection. A number of animals looked sick or just plain miserable, and it's simply heartbreaking.

friendly staff, great prices I'm sorry these other people didn't like the store. This store has had the best staff and service of any pet store on the peninsula. I live around the corner from another pet store and I travel to there's because I know I will get quick, friendly service. They have even given a pet show to my daughter's class at no charge! They are the only pet store I'll go to.

Grrrrreat service I love this place. Ive bought a 75 gal tank from them, loads of pet supplies and im still coming back. I havent experianced any rudeness, or distasteful service (ever)

they sell animals that they know could be sick they sold me 1 and only after an arugument about law said they would refund my money .DONT GO HERE.... THEY MAY HAVE BEEN I BIZ FOR AWHILE BUT I HAD TO ACCIDENTALLY GET IN A THREE WAY CONVO THAT MADE THEM DO ME RIGHT ...I E ..GIVE MY MONEY BACK

nice store i have gotten everything i needed from them. Everyone is very nice there and they know what they are doing. They have lots of animals and fish to choose from if you want a pet.

These people (below me) are nuts! I have no idea what store these people have been to, but they are crazy. I've been getting supplies for my cats, fish, and turtle there for a while, and these people know what they're doing. I have bought all nine of my fish from them, and not a single one was sick or has ever had any problems. I've never seen anyone use a dirty net or use the same net in different tanks, in fact, I was pleased to see the clerk who always gets my fish for me rinse the net off before dipping it into the tank.... read more

This Place needs to be Closed This pet store sales sick animals, it dirty and nasty and the staff is not knowledgeable in handling or caring for animals, My opinion is the owner may be nice but he is there for the money and not for the love of pet ownership. Upon walking in the store the ODOR is overwhelming and stuffy. There seems to be a lack of proper ventilation in the whole store.
