My wife and I made the very difficult decision to put down one of our cats due to seriously declining health. From the preliminary phone call with Lori to set up our appointment all the way through our entire visit with Dr. Turchin, they were as compassionate as could be, not only with us but with Scar. There is not enough we could say about Dr. Turchin and his love for the animals he takes on as patients. One of my cats was having an issue and we needed a vet, close by, and I had seen this place on Passyunk Avenue and called. I made the appointment with Laurie, who informed me they were only opened Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday since Dr. Yuhas is semi-retired. What a wonderful, old fashioned office. Dr. Yuhas and Laurie are both knowledgeable and compassionate. So very glad to have found this place and highly recommend for your pets needs. Best vet in Philly at a great price. Way cheaper and more competent than Washington ave Animal Hospital. Only open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturdays from certain times but well worth it. Kind and capable at unbeatable prices.

new to passyunk area, i have a senior cat who i needed to establish care for in order to make sure he stays healthy and a place to fill his prescriptions. really wonderful experience. they let me stay with my cat for the whole exam, took their time, were so friendly and not at all phased by my cats anxiety and hisses as they performed his checkup. i really appreciated their approach to care and the very relaxed environment!! it was probably one of the best vet experiences i’ve ever had.
