Ron and Carolyn Earwood We leave our big dog Killer every year with the fine folks at Pet Ponderosa. He is pampered and groomed and is always happy to come and visit the staff. I have not had any bad experiences at this kennel. It is sanitary and better yet the staff all care about doing a great job. I would highly recommend this wonderful accomdation for your pet.
Pet Ponderosa Resorts & Spas is the best place to stay AWESOME place to leave your dog or cat. One of the workers actually called me after I set my arangements to make an earlier drop off day to reduce costs. My dog goes about once a month and sometimes doesnt even want to leave when I pick him up. When my dog got sick when he was staying last time they did all the right things and didnt stress me out at all being that I was out of town and unable to help him.
Great with the animals They are amazing with the animals. Our dog has never come back skittish or upset, which was a problem at the last kennel he stayed. Last time he was there for 4 days and when we picked him up, he actually seemed sad to be leaving. haha!
Pet Ponderosa Resorts & Spas is a RIPOFF Do not take you pets here if you don't like being ripped off and verbally abused!!!! I took my 3 dogs there on Friday believing it would be $25 per dog for the night while my husband and I had a short 1 night trip. They informed me that they closed at noon on Saturday so I would have to be back by then or pick them up on Monday and pay for 2 more nights.....OR I could pay a "special pick-up" fee of $40. Pet Ponderosa Recommendation I have taken my dogs to Pet Ponderosa for over five years, have been inside the kennels and have watched how the animals are treated. They are very caring and professional, the facilities are clean and my dog is always happy to go back there - if she can't be at home. They have even cared for one dog with special medical needs. HORRIBLE SERVICE Pet owners: Don't bring your pet to Pet Ponderosa Resorts & Spas unless you want to be scammed! They "groomed" my cat and she came home covered in urine, the lady knew about it and didn't even bother to wipe her off or anything! RIDICULOUS SERVICE! Also, the girl who checked me in said they would be calling me when she was ready to let me know what time to pick her up...never called...then CHARGED ME A BOARDING FEE WHEN I WAS LATE!!!!!!
