There is no better store in San Diego, perhaps Southern California, than Pet Kingdom. The selection of freshwater fish, aquatic plants, reptiles and amphibians is unmatched and they can get whatever you want. This is one if the last large, independent stores remaining and the staff is mostly very knowledgeable. With upcoming improvements, they will eventually reign supreme as a Kingdom should.
They were very helpful! Will be using this as my LFS from now on. Great selections.
This place used to be the number 1 place for Ball Pythons. I went in a few weeks ago and was disgusted at what they've become. All the ball python enclosures were dirty and most had no water, aside from that the unprofessional teenage staff is a joke. Will make sure none of my friends who shop there for reptiles return.
