We’ve now tried Pesce twice in the last two weeks and we’re hooked. It’s an intimate place where the owner and regular servers take great pride in the quality of the seafood and service—and they are so nice! We can report that the New England lobster roll features large chunks of lobster and is among the very best we’ve had, the Japanese scallops are heavenly, the crab cakes are mostly crab and perfectly seasoned, and the whole Maine lobster with shrimp and linguini is excellent. This restaurant is lovely. The owner is phenomenal and tries very hard to make each guest feel welcome. The bartenders and servers, namely Edwin and Judita, are also personable and highly skilled. The food is amazing, and very well executed. I do not play with seafood. This owner has gotten it right! One of the high recommendations I am happy to give in DC. I have repeatedly returned to Pesce and have not been disappointed.
Went here for a dinner with my colleagues and it was AMAZING! Everything was top tier from the hospitality, the decor, and the food. We had the popcorn shrimp and grilled octopus for appetizers which was honestly the best I’ve ever had. The entrees were so delicious we ended up sharing with one another. So fresh and tasty. The owner Judita has put so much love and care into this place and it shows. I can’t wait to come back next time I’m in town. ♥️
