I had a fantastic experience with PDO. I have quite a bit of dental anxiety, and had recently had a negative experience at another office, so I was quite worried coming in. Dr. Nelson was amazing, taking the time to answer all my questions with great detail. I really appreciate the amount of time he took to make sure I understood his assessment and felt comfortable in his practice. I had a really disappointing experience here. I went in for a wisdom teeth removal consultation, and before they would even see me, they charged me $160 for a scan that they claimed wasn’t covered by my insurance. I later found out it actually should have been covered. Then, they gave me an outrageous quote and even suggested they could lower the price if they didn’t use anesthesia—which is honestly concerning. They also told me my insurance wouldn’t cover certain parts of the procedure, but that turned out to be false too.... read more
I was quite disappointed. I went for a wisdom tooth extraction consultation. Before seeing the dentist, I was told to undergo a CT scan. I explained that I wanted to discuss it with the dentist first, but it was refused. After undergoing the CT scan and then seeing the dentist, I was recommended many treatments not covered by insurance. When I refused them, I was told the wisdom tooth extraction would not be performed. Overall, I felt it was unfriendly.
After being recommended by my coworker, I decided to give this place a try and I'm so glad I did! This office was very accommodating in terms of scheduling and since I work nearby, it was really convenient for me to book an appointment with them. The front staff was very welcoming, helpful, and the office itself was modern and clean.
