These houses are overpriced for how cheaply they’re made. Spending half a million dollars and locking yourself into a 30-year loan just to deal with constant repairs is absurd and have it fall apart on you. What a ridiculously way to soend yoyr money. The school district isn’t even exceptional, it's pretty average so what’s the point? For $500K, you could easily invest in a well-built home in a better area with stronger schools. Bought a new Perry home, electrical was done so cheap and overloaded circuits to the point where we cannot run our disposal without the power tripping. We can't run the dryer without the breaker tripping, we can't even run a blow dryer in the bathroom without the power tripping. Everytime. We've had an electrician out multiple times. Perry's response, "the home was wired to plan" they said I will have to hire an electrian and pay to upgrade the electrical if I want to be able to run electrical appliances in my new home.
