Ice cold beer, tons of shade and fresh seafood. Great place to stop as you walk down through the shops etc. We have spent many hours visiting and enjoying the company.
We had dinner on the patio last night. It was our first experience. Andrew was our server and he was pleasant, knowledgeable, and exceptionally accommodating. His recommendations for oysters were spot on. We both had the snapper and the roasted corn side dish. Simply exquisite. My only request is to inform the bussers to keep the conversation down by the servers station. We were sitting right next to it and couldn't have a conversation over theirs. Generally speaking, when people complain about Perla's, they are hipster/anti-progressive Austinites who simply don't want to see classy establishments succeed. Fortunately, their seething towards the gentrification of this city does not deter the fact that Perla's is the best restaurant in Austin. Hands down. You'll get bias opinions from people telling you to go to some mediocre establishment in East Austin where you'll undoubtedly be judged by the dismissive staff who take exception to your lack of knowledge regarding the... read more
The lobster bucatini was amazing!!!! �Thought a few things were a little over priced but overall great experience!!
